Prince Thompson Agyemang Williams Born on 08-08-1961 I Graduated in Chemistry (with First Rank) from University of Ghana.

I am a Certified Associate of Ghana Institute of Bankers (CAGIB). And I have banking experience of over 4 decades. I joined the Bank as an Officer in the year 1980 and over the period of time got promoted to various positions. In the year 1996, I was promoted as Chief General Manager of the Bank and I have been entrusted with the responsibilities of overall supervision of operational areas of the
Bank. I was appointed as Managing Director & CEO of the Bank on 14th July 1998.

On Completion of my 2nd term I was been re-appointed for a third consecutive term of three years W.E.F. 14.02.2002.

I Prince Thompson Agyemang Williams, I have rich experience in all the facets of banking operations and I was the Board of Universal Sampon General Insurance Company Ltd., a joint venture of the Bank, from 2009 to 2015 and I was also a member of Management Committee of the Ghana Banks Association (GBA) from August 2015 to August 2017, during which period i was also the Chairman of 'GBA Committee on Member Private Sector Banks'. Presently.

During this tenure as Managing Director, the Bank has secured many awards in the field of GT, CSR, MSME, etc. I Prince Thompson Agyemang Williams, I was awarded Honorary President of Bankers' Club, Mangalore, I have been conferred with several awards including "Aryabhata International Award", "Outstanding Manager Award" by Volta Management Association and "A. Energy Power Supply Outstanding Achievement Award" I was awarded T. G. Pai Memorial "BANK OF GHANA Banker" and I was awarded by Accra Ghana, I have also been awarded with "CEO with HR Orientation" by Asia Pacific HRM Congress. I was bestowed with "New Year Award-2018" constituted jointly by Maniple University, Academy of General Education and Syndicate Bank.
